Star Distributing Commercial Laundry Equipment, Inc. is a full service distributor, offering a wide variety of sales, service, installation and parts for a complete line of commercial laundry equipment.  We are the oldest commercial laundry distributor in the Southeast.  Star Distributing was established in 1958, by Durwood R. Davis Jr., and has accumulated generations of expertise and knowledge and is well equipped to handle any and all of your commercial laundry needs.  In 1995 Star Distributing purchased Wishy Washy from James Hofstead and opened up a second office in Nashville, TN.  Mr. Hofstead was one of the first laundry equipment distributors when he started Wishy Washy in 1948.  We, at Star Distributing, are proud of our track record establishing over five thousand successful laundry and dry cleaning establishments over the past 5 decades.  Our offices in Nashville, TN and the original office in Atlanta, GA serve Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, parts of Virginia, and parts of North and South Carolina.  Star Distributing has been awarded Speed Queen Distributor of the Year. 

D. Michael Davis, the owner of Star Distributing in Nashville, TN and his brother, Richard, owner of the Atlanta Star Distributing, ensure that Star Distributing remains one of the most technologically advanced distributors in the United States.  The Davis’, themselves, have owned and operated more than thirty laundry and dry cleaning establishments.  This gives us an advantage in being familiar with all aspects of the business from the design phase to the day-to-day operation.

The parts department, one of the largest in the industry, carries parts for all equipment manufacturers.  Our service technicians can work on any type of laundry and/or dry cleaning equipment. The service department offers free service schools several times a year to teach our customers how to work on their own machines, saving them time and money.
